Hi whats up people. I've been starting a new project/having a play with something new. I'm using a special type of neutral density filter which has a factor of 1000. Meaning that you have adjust the exposure by 10 stops. Hopefully this will be an ongoing project of different places and times of year.
This filter is made by B+W and I use the filter with my Mamiya RB67 camera and my Toyo 5x4 large format camera. I just think that the larger format lends itself to this kind effect that the filter gives.
The one draw back is that it gives a yellow cast to colour images whether its C41, E6 or digital. So you have to adjust the colour casts if you want normal colours. Some times the colour cast adds to the image. Its not strong so it is easily adjustable.
